Need for the clinical case registry in homoeopathy

India has atleast 284,471 registered homoeopathic medical practitioners, practicing in government or private clinical/research settings. Due to the unique tenets of Homoeopathy based on individualisation and the lack of standardised and well structured case recording format, there is a paucity of documented clinical cases. In Homoeopathy individual cases contribute to the evidence pyramid by giving an insight into the prescription patterns of Indian homoeopathic doctors. A wealth of information is lost due to the absence of a Clinical Cases Registry in Homoeopathy which is being  developed  as a national / global database of clinical case.

In the realm of medical imaging, cutting-edge technologies have emerged, revolutionizing diagnostic accuracy and patient care. One notable breakthrough is the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into image analysis, enabling swift and precise identification of anomalies in radiological scans.

3D printing have enabled the creation of patient-specific models for surgical planning, enhancing precision during complex procedures.

The fusion of multiple imaging modalities, such as MRI and PET scans, has enabled comprehensive insights into anatomical structures and physiological processes.

These recent developments are reshaping the landscape of medical imaging, empowering healthcare professionals with tools that enhance early detection and personalized treatment strategies.

Telemedicine gained significant traction, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. It involves using technology to provide healthcare services remotely, such as virtual doctor visits, remote monitoring of patients' vital signs, and digital consultations. This trend has led to the development of various telehealth platforms and applications that connect patients with healthcare providers from the comfort of their own homes.

AI and machine learning algorithms have shown promise in medical diagnostics. These technologies can analyze large amounts of medical data, including medical images like X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to aid in the early detection of diseases like cancer, identify patterns, and offer more accurate diagnoses.
